Hana, Building Bridges
I was tasked to create Instagram carousel post for the Kapiʻolani Community College STEM program that highlighted and reflected Native Hawaiian culture. Each post pairs a modern STEM career with a traditional practice or methedology from Hawaiʻi's history.

Bridging Culture and Design
The bridge created started with research of STEM careers and Native Hawaiian culture. An illustration style was selected based on target audience.
Solution
A Framework to share
Through this process a framework was created that resulted in the incorporation of STEM, Culture, and Design. With this framework, careful consideration on how design can be used as a tool to educate and represent cultures in a respectful and beautiful manner.
